I fell more in love with the quaint coastal town of Avalon Bay in this second book of the series. •This is a story of redemption, forgiveness, and second chances. We get a glimpse of the past where Evan and Genevieve were two rebellious kids who fell in love and did a lot of stupid things. They had a tendency to bring out the worst in each other, but they were also inexplicably drawn to each other like two magnets. •Genevieve tried to leave Avalon Bay and leave her tumultuous past behind, but her mother’s funeral forces her back home to the bay and essentially forces her into a lot of fateful situations with Evan. •It was fun watching them grow up and figure themselves out while wondering if they could ever find a way to shed their bad girl / bad boy reputations and develop a responsible & healthy relationship together. Their chemistry was 🔥 and I loved witnessing the soul-searching and personal development that led them to become the best versions of themselves.
