Friday Favorites 8/18
Happy Friday! I love Fridays because it's really fun to compile five of my favorite random things to share with y'all. Four of these things are items that I use regularly and give them my stamp of approval. The 5th item on this list is the book I am currently reading, and I may be a little late to the game on this one, but WHOA it's a winner. Enjoy!
This box cutter is one of those things you never knew you needed until you have it. The rounded ceramic blade makes box cutting safe and SO easy! It glides so smoothly along taped seams, and retracts/protracts with a simple flick of the thumb. No more destroying your good kitchen scissors on all of your packages. I LOVE this thing!
Magnesium is one of the most necessary supplements for maintaining optimal health. A while back I realized I was becoming dependent on melatonin at night, so I decided to stop taking it. I started working this Premium Magnesium Complex into my routine, and found that my sleep quality was so much better on nights that I took it. I don't take it every night, but when I do take it I find that I fall asleep faster and my sleep is much more solid and restful. Some magnesium supplements are very harsh on the tummy -- not this one! It is gentle and really helps with my sleep cycle, keeps my headaches at bay, while also keeping me regular (without the discomfort), if you know what I mean. ;)
I worked at lululemon for years and still buy and love their products, so I feel qualified to give this recommendation. These Amazon leggings are LEGIT! These bad boys are a staple in my daily "mom uniform" for errands and whatnot, but I also wear them while riding my peloton, or going for walks when it's cooler outside. The quality is great, and at $32, the price can't be beat. I am 5'4" and I prefer the 25" leggings in size XS.
If you don't own a fabric shaver, you need one! This Conair Fabric Shaver quickly and easily removes those annoying fuzz balls from your clothes, but that's not all...I have also used it on couches, comforters, throw pillows, you name it. Any well-loved fabrics can probably benefit from a quick shave to get them looking good as new again. I've had this exact one for 3 years and it's still going strong!
WIRN --> What I'm Reading Now. This book....Lordy. I'm not even halfway done and I already know there aren't going to be adequate words in my vocabulary to express my love for it. I expect it to fundamentally change me as a person. I'm reading this a little slower than usual because I really want to savor it, and also want to lessen the span of time I have to live in agony waiting for the sequel. If you're one of the few humans left on Earth who hasn't purchased Fourth Wing, do it now! Can't wait to write my full review once I'm finished.
