In The Likely Event // Rebecca Yarros

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (I kinda want to give it 100 stars)

Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (next-level chemistry but the spice is not the focal point in this story)

Genre: Emotional Military Romance

•Rebecca Yarros seems to have cornered the market on emotional military romances. Rip my heart out why don’t ya, Yarros!? This story rivals the likes of The Notebook and Titanic, in my opinion. It has nothing to do with either of those, but I felt the same gut-wrenching ache in my bones about this story as I did about those.

•Izzy and Nate are undeniably linked by the universe. They are one soul split between two bodies. Once they meet it is nearly impossible for one to breathe without the other. The universe brings them together initially on an airplane, but life circumstances get in the way. Fate continues to bring them together time and time again, even though it’s never exactly the RIGHT time. When I say I ached for them, I literally felt it in my soul. They were absolutely destined for eachother but had so many obstacles blocking their ability to build a life together.

•This is a second chance romance like none other. You will get lost in their love, and you will be desperate for them to find a way to make it work. It is profound and haunting and heartbreaking and inspirational all at the same time. I felt agony at times, and complete happiness in other moments. Thank you Rebecca Yarros for getting me all in my feels with this book. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 This is one that I think everyone with a soul will love. Link in stories. ❤️
