☀️ Same Time Next Summer // @annabelmonaghan •My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ •Spice Level: 🌶️ Not your steamy romance, but more of a coming of age love story with a second chance romance. You definitely feel the chemistry, but it only skims the surface. •Ideal reading location: 💦 Near any body of water. Particularly lovely while on vacation, lounging near the beach or pool. ➡️ Swipe to see where I devoured this book. •My Review: 📚I LOVE first love. I was once a kid who fell in love, so these stories always speak to me, and this book definitely took me on a journey. We have a Then & Now timeline happening here, and if you’re like me, you’ll find yourself getting frustrated with Sam’s present storyline and rooting for her to get back to her authentic self. Wyatt was her first love, and a beautiful extension of Sam’s true, authentic self. I enjoyed getting lost in their carefree childhood friendship turned teen romance, and couldn’t help but hope that they would find their way back to each other. I just recently discovered Annabel Monaghan’s books (also author of Nora Goes Off Script) and she will now be an instant-buy author for me because both of her books left me with a happy heart. This story is a reminder of how easy it is to build up walls around your heart, but if you let your guard down and stay true to yourself, you can build a life that sets your soul on fire. If you’re going on vacation, or just soaking up some summer sun at home, grab this book to accompany you! 🫶🏻
