The Five-Star Weekend // Elin Hilderbrand

The Five-Star Weekend // Elin Hilderbrand My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5 stars) Spice Level: NON EXISTENT •I wish I could give The Five-Star Weekend a 5 star review, but honestly it bored me to tears. I *think* I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the book rather than listening to it on audible. The narrator was ok, but it just did not hold my attention at all. •I think I’m in the minority here because this book is highly rated on many platforms, and I know readers LOVE this author…it just didn’t do it for me. •The story follows a weekend getaway to Nantucket with 5 women in their fifties, all of whom are linked to the main character, Hollis. Each woman is a best friend from different periods of Hollis’s life, and she brings them all together for one “unforgettable weekend”. Except it was extremely forgettable for me. I had a hard time finishing this one. 🤣 •I know many of you loved this book so please comment below and set me straight! This is probably my least favorite book I’ve read in a while. I think I’ll stay away from audible and stick to physical books from now on. 🤷🏻‍♀️😬

*The internet LOVES this book and you might too, so don't take my word for it! Check it out for yourself and let me know your thoughts. One of my best friends said this was a new favorite book!
