•It’s no secret that Lucy Score earned my undying love with the first book of this series: Things We Never Got Over. That book will always be one of THE books that turned me into a reader. This series holds a special place in my heart.
•Things We Left Behind is book 3 of 3 in the Knockemout Series and it’s right up there with book 1 as one of my favorite reads to date!
•This is a frenemies to lovers tale like no other! I was so happy to FINALLY unravel the mysterious web of Lucian Rollin’s and Sloane Walton’s past. Sloane is the epitome of cute/quirky/naughty librarian who is feisty to her core, while Lucian superbly plays the role of grumpy/broody/impatient villain. The two of them are at odds 100% of the time, but their connection and chemistry is palpable…and did I mention reallly really steamy!? It was really fun to watch all of their past experiences lead them into a future that neither of them could have predicted.
•I laughed my ass off because Lucy’s writing is hilarious, and her supporting cast are some of the best fictional friends ever created, but I also felt deep emotions as Lucian & Sloane navigated love, loss, and vengeance from childhood through adulthood.
•This is another fabulous tale of redemption and second chances. If you haven’t started your Knockemout journey yet, start now with Things We Never Got Over. 🤍
